Great guy. Extremely knowledgeable. Reports are concise and easy to understand. Would highly recommend for stage inspections of the house. Probably not for final handover inspection (Had few issues not picked up).

Can't recommend Ian enough. I used his services for every stage during my build and it was the best money I've ever spent. Ian was fantastic to deal with, prompt communication and the reports were very detailed and well presented and were issued much faster than I expected which made the build process even smoother as there weren't hold ups waiting for the reports. Highly recommend Ian and Solid start Property Inspections and I will definitely be using them for any of my future needs!

If you are looking for a professional building inspector with a wealth of knowledge, we would highly recommend Ian Stewart. Ian turned up on time with a great attitude and fantastic customer service. We highly recommend this company through all and any steps of your development or when buying an established home. Being a registered builder and working as a builder for many years, Ian could find faults that we would not be able to see, point things out that we would not have seen or realised needed fixing. Very competitive in price as well. As our main concerns were structural issues more than cosmetic, he reassured us that his concerns are primarily structural. He went above and beyond the service we expected. In summary, brilliant, precise, thorough and professional.

Ian was an absolute professional and offered a competitive price. As he is a registered builder he was able to do a more thorough check of property than a general inspector and this was so important as I was worried about the house having safety issues not just cosmetic. Turned up on time and was very thorough. Highly recommend this company.
